I really wanted to skip any finishing this weekend, but that would have been a poor start to my year of FUFOs. So I dragged out the sewing machine and turned Bee My Honey into a small pillow. The kit came with the pre-cut fabric to finish it with, so there was really nothing to it. I simply had to sew a couple of straight lines, attach the stitching to the pillow, stuff and close the seam.
I also worked on my Valentine exchange piece over the weekend. It's turning out to be so pretty! Of course, I can't share a picture yet, because it's a secret. The stitching is very nearly completed, and I'll probably finish it into a (*#%*@#$ next weekend.

Your pillow looks wonderful all stitched up :) Good on you for meeting your FUFO goals ... I'm about to post mine too, but mine didn't have as much finishing to be done as yours ;)
FUFO that's exactly the name I needed to talk about this pile of projects I have here. doing the finishing work is my #1 resolution this year but I hadn't made a plan on how to accomplish it. One weekend a month sounds reasonable. I'll try that. Maybe next weekend. Thanks
Bravo !! You've done so beautifull Things .
Thanks for your comment on my blog.
Big round of applause for your FUFO finish! It looks great! :D Love your Quaker diamond as well.
What a sweet little pillow!
Hopefully the sewing machine I got for Christmas will help make some dents in my FUFO pile...or at least prevent the FUO pile from growing anymore....
The pillow is so cute! You did a wonderful job.
FUFO! I knew there must be a term for those things, lol! You have an excellent start on your resolution, and I may have to emulate it!!
Bee My Honey is so cute. You did a great job finishing it.
