I had hoped that I would have finished Castle Sampler by now, but it still isn't done. I was a bit tired of working on it this week, so on Thursday I started Drawn Thread's Little Blackwork. I'm stitching this one on a Silkweaver Solo using medium-dark blue silk thread. This made a nice break and I was back to stitching Castle Sampler again on Saturday. I'm extremely close to a finish on that one. So close, in fact, that I've decided not to take another update photo until the grand Happy Dance.

Hi, your recent ufo finish looks great. Blackwork is looking good too. Best wishes.
Juanita, congrats on the ufo finish! I especially like your blackwork piece stitched in blue - really nice!!
That ornament is very sweet - great job! And I know what you mean about needing another project to break up a big on like the Castle Sampler. I just started a little Just Nan design over the weekend, to give me a change from "Once Upon a Time".
Can't wait to see the blackwork piece completed...it looks great!
I'm stitching the blackwork too for a bit of relief from bigger items. I'm stitching it on a deeper light blue Jobelin with black floss. Is yours going to be completely reversible?
Congratulations on your finish! You're off to a great start on the DT Little Blackwork. Of course, I love anything and everything from DT!
Lovely stitching - congrats on the finish! :D
Its really nice, Congrats on the finish, I like that one, will have to search it out myself and do it.
